This could of course just be a way to share inventory between the two main characters, but I feel like this would make greater sense from a Co-op perspective. I’ve also seen people mentioning a “Share inventory” function spotted in the leaks but have not seen this myself. It appears that Lucia might be controlled by another Rockstar employee, potentially testing the co-op functionality, as her movement doesn't quite resemble AI behavior. What further strengthens my belief in the possibility of co-op gameplay in GTA 6 are other leaked clips, such as the one featuring Jason walking in the nightclub. I don't see why they would have a ping function in a singleplayer game either.

"Buddy Ping" suggests tagging locations or objects for the other player.

It could involve communication between the two players, possibly for coordination, sharing information, or strategizing, or could maybe even involve voice chat. The use of "buddy" in this context might imply a code word for another Co-op player, as it would make little sense to refer to the two main characters as "buddies" in the game's narrative. The "Buddy Comms" action also piques curiosity. Downed Self Suicide could be a quick way for a player to die while downed, in situations where the other player isn't nearby to save them, something I don't see why a singleplayer only game would have. The idea of a downed state, or self-reviving hints at the possibility of cooperative gameplay. Although many of these actions could have a full discussion of their own, I would like to focus on the ones hinting towards cooperative gameplay.įor example, the presence of "Downed Self Revive" and "Downed Self Suicide" actions suggests that a character can be downed in some way. Obviously, he won’t be able to grapple someone without having anyone to grapple, or cover without anything to cover behind. The actions with a "Valid" status are the ones available to Jason in his current state (standing still in an open environment). In the leaked video, the character "Jason" is shown standing still in an open environment. These actions are linked to the character's behavior during specific situations. In the "Action List" section, the actions are associated with a status, which appears to be based on the character's state in the game.

The manager consists of five different sections: "Action List," "Source States," "Action Context," "Scenarios," and "Conditional Actions." However, I believe the leaks only reveal the contents of the "Action List" section. You can observe this in the video where Jason toggles between prone and standing in a greybox environment. While the Grand Theft Auto series (Story Mode) has traditionally been a single-player experience, the leaked clips hints at the possibility of cooperative gameplay (Co-op) between the two characters in GTA 6.Īs I delved into the leaks, I stumbled upon what appears to be a "Player Action Manager" that showcases various in-game actions available to players. I recently made an intriguing discovery related to the GTA 6 leaks, and I'm surprised that this particular aspect hasn't received much attention.
